Here is why you should not miss this year’s Huddle
Huddle Global, conducted by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is one of the largest startup conferences in Asia. It is also the largest networking platform for aspiring and ambitious entrepreneurs in India.
Huddle Global is the ideal forum for bringing together investors, start-up founders, industry executives, and government representatives to discuss about the startup ecosystem and the path forward for startups following the pandemic’s end. Every year, KSUM organizes the Huddle Global conference along a lovely beach side, however this year it will be held virtually.
The conference is open to all startups, investors, knowledge enthusiasts, and business sectors in and around the country due to its virtual structure. Startups can attend this event and showcase their products to all of the investors in there, which can help them get the financial and technical support they need to continue growing. They will get a chance to learn from other successful entrepreneurs, hear from the experts in the startup ecosystem, get one on one mentoring on their idea and also get a chance to interact with startups from other countries.
This would be a great platform for all the investors to connect with startups. Huddle Global will also have pitch sessions where participants can present their ideas and be guided by over 30 mentors. Students attending can get an opportunity to learn from successful entrepreneurs, interact with startups from other countries and attend the masterclass delivered by industry experts.
The two-day event i.e February 19th & 20th will be inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, post that there will be a series of panel discussions, tech talks, master classes, keynote sessions, and webinars. This event will aid you in understanding the many prospects in the start-up sector around the world, as well as strategies to support the overall expansion of the start-up ecosystem.
Mr. John M Thomas, CEO of Kerala State IT Parks and Kerala Startup Mission, will give the opening address, followed by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s inaugural address. This event will see the signing of Memorandums of Understanding with JETRO, Google for Startups, NASSCOM, OPEN Accelerator, Habitat for Humanity International, GrowthX, and Global Accelerator Network (GAN). Several keynote talks will be given throughout the course of the two days by young and skilled entrepreneurs such as Mr. Aman Gupta (Cofounder & CMO at Boat, Shark Tank India), Mr. Durgesh Kaushik (MD- India at Snapchat), and Mr. Roberto Croci (Managing Director at Microsoft for startups MEA).
You can also attend amazing and informative panel discussions on topics such as “The world of unicorns” “Indian startups and investments,” and “The Rising Opportunities in Indian Startups” with panelists such as Mr. Amit Kumar Agarwal (Founder & CEO of NoBroker.com), Mr. Aditya Arora (CEO at Faad Network), Ms. Upasana Sharma (Founder and CEO of IQ Canada), Mr. Irfan Malik (Founder of InQ Australia) and many others. Along with that, there will be tech talks on a variety of trending topics including “IoT and Digital Transformation,” “Technology Startups for Social Innovation,” “Blockchain and Smart Contracts 101,” and so on. On 19th February, you can attend a workshop on “Building AR Lens with Snapchat” which will be delivered by Mr. Lakshya Malu (Community Strategy & Partnership at Snapchat) and also a masterclass by Mr. Dev Ramnane (Head of Greenfield Startups- India, AWS) on the topic “How we (and you should) think about startup innovation” which will throw some light on the importance of innovation in startup ecosystem.
The first day will conclude with the announcement of the winners of Kerala Startup Mission’s Huddle Selfie contest, while the second day will be focused on Blockchain technology and its implementation. To have a better understanding of this technology and its application, you can attend various keynote discussions, tech talks, and power talks on this subject which will be conducted on that day.
So far, 70+ companies, 50+ exhibitors, 30+ mentors, and 30+ speakers have signed up for the event, which will take place on 19th and 20th February 2022.
